Coordinator: Dream Dare Do Association
Project number: 2023-3-RO01-KA210-YOU-000184985
Project duration: 01.03.2024 - 31.08.2025
Objectives:
The project Relocation Integration and Support for Empowerment is tackling mental health challenges faced by youth in correlation with intern and international migration (homesickness, financial stress, academic or professional pressure, social isolation, or a loss of identity) through the development of a guide with innovative methods of non-formal education and psychology.
The project will have an awareness campaign consisting of thematic posts addressing various aspects of the challenges faced by migrants in relation to mental health, such as depression, anxiety, identity loss, academic and professional pressures, and financial stress. We will emphasize the difficulties migrants encounter when adapting to new environments, whether within the same country or abroad, and how civic engagement can facilitate the integration process.
5-day training format dedicated to equipping 15 youth workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to proficiently carry out activities for young people who are dealing with the challenges of transitioning to larger cities or countries, particularly the cultural shock that often accompanies such moves
As an output, we will create a handbook of methods for improving well-being.
